Buffering mouse buttons?

Any plans on buffering the mouse buttons in lwjgl?

I’ve written a gui system in lwjgl, and I’m a bit conserned about not beeing able to buffer the mouse buttons. I’ve done some test and found out that I started “loosing” mouse event when the frame rate droped to about 16. I know that running a game at 16 fps is not realy a good idee :slight_smile: But if I don’t get the events my game will seem buggy.

We probably won’t bother with buffering them. It just adds complexity to the mouse API. If it turns out that it’s really easy on all OSs then maybe we will, but I reckon you’ll get your UI up to 60fps by the time we sort it out eh?

It runs at approx 500 fps now. I guess I just worry to much :slight_smile:
