ps: lag in the video is caused by the recording software together with my potato phone

The Game:

Just avoid the blue falling boxes and pickup the green ones (makes you smaller).

Current World Record: 16458 (Even i cant beat that)

Feel free to leave any sugestions and bugs that you may find!

Its currently at alpha in play store, theres a lot i want to add before releasing.

TO DO:
Cosmetic
-Animations between states
-Death Animation
-Background Music

Gameplay
-New box types
-Shields boxes
-Speed related boxes
-Angular boxes
-Plain score boxes
-Make dificult level based on player decision on with box to take rather than pure speed and reflex

This is actually a really good concept. If you improve the UI and add some special effects like screen shake when you get hit, it could really be something even greater.

I thought about that but find very distracting on high speeds, maybe after changing the gameplay a bit it may work. For now getting hit vibrates the phone.

It’s a cool game, nice job. Super-fast paced at the end.
I notice that the life is given on the left hand side by boxes. Maybe it would look better if it was a tail on the ship, so the shorter the tail, the less health points.

I like the minimalism and colour scheme. But you could fit the game into some story or motivation to add more depth. Such as being a virus in a a bloodstream, trying to avoid the white blood cells rushing toward you. Or a salmon fish swimming against the river, dodging the fishing nets.

EDIT: Or a space ship trying to get out of the gravity pull of a black hole as it pulls other junk, asteroids or planets or something in.

Thanks for the feedback, i tried the tail thing, in the video seens like a good ideia but in reality your finger will be in that space covering the tail. Im focused in gameplay right now but definitely will try some space themed stuff. Love the bloodstream ideia might use it in another game

I like this idea, very interesting:)

You can add some physics to the boxes.
For example if they collide with each other they may bounce in random directions, rotate and even fall apart.
