a River Raid clone

and i have decided to create more advanced version based on OpenProcessing engine
i am looking for companions
i’m thinking it’s a good time to join me as the project is not started yet
actually i have ideas of not just a game
but something in between a game and a gfx demo
the project is really great for collaboration as it has absolutely encapsulated interesting tasks:
you may create gfx demos that will be a part of decorations
feel free to ask any questions if you have some
my blog - in case you want to get some info about me

guys, about 100 views and no one wants?
i almost don’t believe it
such a cool project and i am pretty experienced companion

camon, camon, bolder!

Getting people to join your project is very very difficult. Getting them to actually contribute is next to impossible.

Especially if you’re making a clone.

keke your comments are full of content and wisdom 8)
like they always do
it’s rather a tribute
actually it’s not a clone

there is an upside to that, cause everything is already decided :), rather than spending like 6 months deciding everyting, u can get to the game

Yeah but what’s the incentive?

I make another pretty unique game (turn based). And I think the incentive and enjoying of development of making real time game (well clone) gonna be even more. The most incentive for me is real-time animated beauty.

I meant what’s the incentive to join a project to make something that has already been made. Certainly the looks cool and might be very fun to play, but in the end after all the work all you have is a clone.

that is true, but if you leave it open to add some new features, fix things that you didnt like, this gives some creativity to the team, but confines them to s mall area so they dont go off on a tangent.
