Assault on the Necrospire

Assault on the Necrospire has been my labour of love for the past half a year or so. My idea was to make a roguelike that had the loot / stat system of an ARPG which would allow players to make the build they wanted out of the loot they found. Players can combine spells they find to produce different attack modifiers, as well as equip artifacts which grant them different usable abilities.

I’ve just launched on Greenlight and the feedback so far has been fairly good which has been a great morale boost. Here’s the trailer I made for the game (video editing isn’t my strong point unfortunately!)

I’m using libGDX if anyone’s wondering.

The inventory screen

I’d love to get any comments, feedback or suggestions. I’m keen to start an open beta but I think I should hold off on it until the game is mostly content complete and balanced.

Here’s the greenlight link if anyone’s interested:

The inventory system… make it scroll or something. I do NOT want to press each individual page in search of items.

Pretty awsome

That’s a fair point, I’ll look into it. My concern with a scrolling inventory is that items can become hard to find in the middle (if the inventory is big enough) There’s more I’d like to add to the inventory such as filtering by type and quick searching but I haven’t found the time to get round to it yet
