Arcazoid!

Hi all,

After a long period of betatesting I finally dare to announce my latest project; Arcazoid!
It’s basically a game portal which features custom online java games. We’ve build a community around it, where people can compete against each other in competitions.

I’ve worked together with some talented game developers to get the first assortment of games ready, but more great games are in the pipeline though! Currently all featured games are 1.1 compatible applets, but multiplayer, 3d, downloadable/webstart games are in development… :slight_smile:

I’m sure you guys are familiar with the concept of write once, debug everywhere :wink: So I’d really appreciate it if you’d take the efford to report any bugs here or give some feedback.

PS I’m aware about the folowing issues:
-games don’t work in Opera (seems to be a bug with the java.net.urlconnection in Opera…)
-puzzlegem & themetris (temporarily) don’t work on 1.1 jvm’s

Cool site! I can confirm that trailrider worked & was awesome fun :smiley: on windows XP with java 6.

I think it’s great how you can log on as a guest rather than having to register & all that.

Yeah guest play is a rather important feature, as only ~10% of our visitors takes the efford of registering :wink:
