This sounds like it will be a great session, Kevin.

For those of us who won’t be able to make it to JavaOne, when will the information be publicly available?

Please could I ask a favour of anyone here going to J1 (given that it’s thousands of miles away, I won’t be going myself…):

Plead with them to make a webstart-compatible distribution of Java3D ;D.

My interest? What I would like to know is if YOU are interested in Java3D? It’s totally unethical to fool people into start using a package and then suddenly, when they’ve invested a lot of effort in it, just drop it.

sod that!

1: will it work on the MacOSX?
2: can i make stuff and sell it for loads of cash without having to pay SUN?
3: will it do OpenGL shaders- ARB and the like?
4: fullscreen & muilt-screen?
5: can i use other renders lwjgl or jogl?
6: can i use other sound engines fmod?
7: what of UI overlays- can i have swing components as overlays and the events work?
8: can it make me tea instead of just coffee?
