I am thinking of the strategies to release my upcoming game and I know google Play Store gives a better ranking for “new” releases (meaning newer than 30 days from what I’ve read).
However, I would like to do a soft launch, releasing for example in Canada, to get some feedback first and then after working on this feedback releasing globally. What I would like to know from you guys that have games released is if the “new release” status will start counting as soon as I release to Canada and that’s it, or if later when I release to say, South Africa, then to this country my 30-day “new release” will start counting independently from Canada.
Hope I could make my question clear, that’s something I couldn’t find an answer in google.
