Alien Flux Beta Testers Required

We are nearing completion of Alien Flux, which is scheduled to be released on 10th June. We should have the finished game ready at the end of this month and we need some beta testers.

We have created a forum for puppygames.net customers.

If you are interested in beta testing, please pop along and sign up on the forums, and then send me an email with the subject ‘Beta Test’ (so Opera filters it, natch) and I’ll add you to the private beta testing forum.

Now don’t be thinking it’s all fun and games :stuck_out_tongue: I’ll need some good, detailed analysis of the difficulty level, and bug reports, and maybe any little suggestions you might have to make it better that we can try and squeeze into the “gold” version. And of course the more wierd computers you have to test it on the better.

I am hoping that everyone playing the game should ultimately get to level 20. If you don’t I’ll post you up in the Hall of Shame :smiley:

I use a Matrox video card. That has had problems in the past. I don’t plan to play test AF but I will work with you to fix any rending bugs. Do you want me to participate in the beta?

Sure, that’d be fine. It’s at least nice to know what systems it’s running successfully on.

I make crash many games I play with. My 3 years son will help me also?

Is there several language available? Do you need translation?

Hi all.

I’ll be one of the beta testers too, if needed. I can test it on the lowest machine i’ve ever seen (a friend one, that we usually call “flash” because of its awesome speed…). It’s a 300 Mhz celeron under Debian (even back in the celeron glory days (there were really such days…?), the machine was sloooooooooow).

So, if you are interested, just tell me.

I can participate in a french translation also…

Despite the Celeron it does have a 3d card in it doesn’t it? Truth be told I think it’s 100MHz under our min. spec but you never know, it might be playable in lo-res, no-features, 30Hz mode.
