Aevum Obscurum - V 2.5.0

I finally managed to fancy up my game! I know it’s not one of those cool 3D games as otherwise here on the forums, nevertheless, so far I got about 150 players that come back daily! The game is free, but I also just added cc payment for additional features - let’s see if anybody dares to pay?

I also updated the web site graphics…

OK I just registered and ‘joined a game’ but then I just got shot back to the original menu & I’ve got no game to play at all :’(. How can I just play it or am I missing something?

By the way, the interface is pretty good & the whole map-download thing is pretty cool!

I assume you tried the demo (single player)? What multiplayer concerns, the game does NOT currently feature “real-time” games where you can hook up live with other players. I know that’s sort of strange, but my initial goal was to create a “play-by-mail” type game where you play whenever you want - just everything automated through database. Turns are usually 24h. I know that might sound boring, but I got quite a lot of players that seem to like it!!! Just go in once a day and input your orders for each game joined, then the next day you come back.

Also, the game you joined probably didn’t start yet. It’s play-by-mail type, so you have to wait for enough people to be in.

But the good news is, I am just working on adding that real-time type of game! You can play with whomever is online!

Does that answer your question? I am aware it’s not to everyones liking…
