Advanced Visual Effects with OpenGL

Recently, I came across a an article on gamedev.net entitled Advanced Visual Effects with OpenGL. It gives a nice overview of how OpenGL 3.0 aka OpenGL LM (Lean and Mean) could look. Very interesting IMHO, especially seeing all the slides about DirectX 10 and its new features…

Do this play fine in Java OpenGL wrappers, we dont have pointers. Or do such native side GLObjects are easy and fast to manipulate in Java platform?

Won’t make any difference to us, they’ll just be longs, and that’s that.
