add normal map to appirance

anyone got normal mapping working on models? how
did u add one to the shape?

Do we mean the same when saying “Normal Mapping”?

AFAIK the normal mapping I mean is a second texture. On the polygon with the 1st texture each texel of the 2nd texture is actually a normal vector being applied via pixel shader…
