Actually genuinely is off topic- Breakfast's musical adventure...

Here’s something that is absolutely nothing to do with Java or computers or anything.

I haven’t done much spare time coding in the last year or so because my main evening job currently is playing bass in a songwriterly indie-rock band called Sequoia. This has been going pretty well and we’ve reached the point where our record is finally coming out through a local record label on the 31st. It’s a pretty big adventure. You can hear one of the tracks on this review. I’ve always wanted to play music but until the day it appeared on Amazon, it somehow didn’t seem real.

Right now it’s pretty cool being me…

Wow, congratulations! It’s certainly nice to see your work up in front of everyone.

I find it interesting, that Amazon claims that “Customers interested in this title may also be interested in:”

I’m not sure if I’m alone, but generally when I think of Hydroponics, especially when closesly related to good music, I’m not thinking of a Tomato harvest.

Incidentally, what do you have to do in order to get Amazon to supply sample clips of the musical tracks on their page? (For some reason the review link to clip doesn’t work, RealPlayer (bleh) claims it can’t download a needed component.

For me RealPlayer worked. Nice song, not really unique in it’s kind, but nice anyway

Wow thats great!
Nice to see some clean cut lads doing well

I’m so clean-cut, even if Amazon does think that people who like us will also like hydroponics kits…

I hate Realplayer with a passion, I only have it cos half the BBC doesn’t do their listen agains in other formats.

Not sure how to get Amazon to include clips- but we should have some available somewhere very directly and I’ll put a link here when we do…

A few tracks can be heard over on our myspace page…
