Comments on the game is very much appreciated, especially on level design and level progress.

Very nice and well polished game. How many levels are there? Got to level 11, difficulty curve seemed fine. Does the turns xx/xx serve any purpose other than to see how many moves have been made?

Thanks! There are only 15 levels so you almost got to the end

The turn-counter doesn’t have any other purpose i’m afraid. I thought about squeezing in a highscore list, but it’s pretty useless without being able to save state between session.
Can’t think of anything else to do with it…

I’d suggest resetting the step counter on each level so we can brag/pull our hair out about how few steps we can complete a level in

Hi Bysse,

Very nice game! I like this kind of thing!

I second Mickelukas on the stepcounter!

The concept is wonderfully original (at least, new to me). And to top it off, you’ve created some really clever levels. I struggle alot with level design, so this is very impressive to me.

Well done.

Very nice! Well done.

Very nice game, incredible what you can do in just 4k of java!

I played till level 5, on which I got stuck:
There were no more coloured tiles to activate and the path to the next area was blocked by black red-edged tiles…

Keep up the good work, it really seems like a nice game, despite it’s size

Mickelukas / M.E.:
That’s a great idea! Thanks.

Scarzzurs:
Hehe, don’t take the red brick in the beginning

EDIT: Implemented!

Tested the first 7 levels but couldn’t improve anything, nicely done

Ah, didn’t notice the restart feature.
You might want to have that on-screen at all time, or at least display it above the game or something like that…

Btw. I topped a few of your scores :stuck_out_tongue:
[Edit]These will be updated as I go along…
Intro: 43 Moves
Level 4: 13 Moves
Level 5: 48 Moves
Level 6: 60 Moves

Gonna finish the rest later

  • Scarzzurs

it’s cool man, little hard but interesting

Very cool and unique. It has potential to be expanded into a full-blown game.

excellent ! I love the idea

ps: it remind me this one ( a little different but same feeling ) http://www.funplus.com/Bloxorz.html

yeppe  finished

Hehe good job! I was wondering if anyone would actually try to solve the ‘intro’ level
I never solved it outside the editor, must be hard when you can’t restart and everything rotates?

EDIT: It can be done in 33 moves actually, up for the challenge?

Hi Bysse,

Hopefully you be able to squeeze in a sort of
menu where you can go to a specific level?
I want to replay a level to beat my own score.
Also, it would be nice to have some kind of
indication what the (current) least number of
steps is to solve a grid?
I am trying to beat the score Scarzzurs made
but I either have to restart before the finish
to get it done. An unlimited undo would be
really, really helpful to get a step-by-step
improvement.

Again, a great job and a very addicting game!

I’m on a really tight bit-budget right now, but i’ll see what i can squeeze in. I think it would be better to have a level select function than undo, even if it’s just key commands. Best score might be doable also.
I’ll get back to you in a few days, going to see Angkor Wat tomorrow

I managed to squeeze in level select on ‘q’ / ‘w’ but that’s it. Enjoy

Thanks Bysse,

That is exactly what I needed !!

This is my current low-score:
1=15,2=20,3=29,4=13,5=48,6=54,7=30,8=30,9=49
