I KNOW it’s strange question, but:
do you think there is some 3d editor, which allows to create faces, that consists of more than 3 vertexes?
I know that having more than 3 vertexes per face brings many many problems, it’s necessary to ensure, that they all lay on same plane etc… but I need this feature anyway.
3dsmax is a good place to start. ;D
lightwave allows 65535 points per polygon so it might be fine for you.

yeees, thank you, I have read some manuals/tutorials and it seems like lightwave can really do it.
ehm, now there is only one problem: where/how to get it
how to get it depends on what you mean by ‘get’…
http://newtek.com/buynow/lw_products.html is where you can buy it.
If you meant anything else, i can’t help you.
You can always download Blender. Its free and has plenty of documentation. It only suports quads but this is usually what people want anyway to work with subvidived meshes. You can also work with nurbs in Blender.
But you have to spend some time getting along with Blender. Most of the guys I know that worked with Blender cursed it a lot in the beginning for its quite unintuitive handling. Nevertheless I began to like it after a while…
