That’s the only link I could find.

What do you need 2d RPG source code for anyways?

Well I need to wake up a little m8.I just came back from a very long holiday.A friend and me wanna start working on a game project. But my knowledge is very rusty and his is almost 0.So I wanted to take examples in order to remember some basic things and also start getting examples and start studying again for our own project which is a 2D RpG.Starting from something simple and then if possible do it more complicated.

Please if you have any other links/tips that might help us in this I would be more than grateful to you if you posted it here. Thanks a lot for the link

Search in the forums for Kev’s MiniAdventure and the community project JRPG.

Rafael.-

Thanks a lot man.But by searching the forum I could not find anything about community RPG.I found 2 posts mentioning Kev’s MiniAdventure … but no actual link to any info about it :frowning:

Any help?Actually isn’t kev the cokeandcode spaceinvaders 101 tutorial author? If yes I really need to see this miniadventure of his :).The spaceinvaders tutorial was great :).

It’s an applet I made when I wasn’t too good at programming .It’s not completly finished and as I said it’s not the greatest game … The sources are not included , but if you (still) want them after you see the game I will help you.

I’ve made the source code for my 2d RPG, Rabbits, available for download at http://www.cowgodgames.com/downloads.php?download=rabbitssource .

It’s not really that great. My code is a mess, and the game is somewhat lacking. I don’t think anyone could find anything useful in the 264 source code files because there’s no documentation to speak of.

MiniAdventure was abandoned by me, then picked up by Krypto and a few others - and seems to have been re-abandoned (if thats a valid word). The source can be found at https://jrpg.dev.java.net/

It might be a little too big scale for learning much from, but it was a pretty cool

Kev

Very big thanks to all of you people ;D

I will just look at all those codes and take examples too. Thanks very much
