Hey Guys at first sorry for bad english or writing mistakes i am not a native speaker but i will try my best ;).
I am currently working on a 2D Multiplayer Coop Rpg. My tools are the Kryonet Library for networking , and Open Gl for the graphical stuff.
The game is intendet to have 4 Player Coop but its possible to extend the Number of players when there is enough upload bandwidth.
Content
You and your crew stranded on the forgotten continent your mission was to investigate it and to find a cure for your homelands. Now you must survive and try your best to fullfill your mission.
The Dungeons are going to have small unique Stories each one will have individual ones. When looting stuff you will be able to gain new items and abilitys by using ability scrolls.
The Game is currently in a very early alpha stage but the engine is stable and works for 4 players on a server with 60kb/s upload capability.
Features already implemented
- The coop mode, open a server and let your friends join your game
- First weapons and items like healing potion or crossbow
- Npcs helping you out(sometimes :))
- Small quests only for technical demonstration
Features to come
- Dungeons with puzzles to solve and and ability challenges as well
- Stories in each world told within different quests and sidequests
- New animations and graphical modifications
- Pay allies or create monsters to battle with you (good if you prefer singleplayer)
- Possibilities to combine items and make usefull stuff
- Random item looting everytime you play you receive different items
- New shop and trading system you can trade with your friends or leave items for sale
- Players can join your game the whole time , no lobby(FINISHED)
- Save your progress
- Customize your character in terms of appearance

This demo is only a technical demonstration of the game mechanics. None of these quests are available in future versions. The survival and weahter mechanics are not implemented in this demo
