2.5D

I have a few good game ideas, but they won’t operate well in a 2d environment, so I was hoping if someone could point me out to a good tutorial on 2.5d programming. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, to me it’s technically still 2d.

Not exactly the same question, but I just asked this a couple days ago. Riven had some great advice.

One thing you can also do in a very simplistic sense is just rotate everything 45 degrees and then squash it down on the Y like to 60% size. Looks pretty good.
