do something cool
This:
public static final void main(String[] args)
{
System.out.println("Hello World!");
}
I’m glad you made that final, some crazy bloke could have overridden that static method!
Hmm… I never thought of that.
Never.
Lol.
It’s good to be safe.

ReBirth:
Have a good life with money from indie programming. No need to go to office, code wearing short pant and berry-shaped hair clip in my head.
Pants?! PANTS?! Real men code in their underwear at home!
If only you’re alone (or just your wife) :persecutioncomplex:
I’d like to make a little bit of money, but more importantly make a game people actually want to Play. That, and maybe get a game on steam. ;D
Let’s see: I’d like to complete all the wiki pages that I’ve started and convince at least one other person that complex numbers are vastly superior to angles.

I’m with you. Though an angle’s intrinsically normalized, so it has that. Another thing I’d like to accomplish is finishing this book.
The one on top. Yeah, not a good sign.

You mean quaternions or something?

Sort of…here, read up to “Pulling a Dragon…”: http://acko.net/blog/how-to-fold-a-julia-fractal/
Nah, just plain old 2D complex…humm…maybe I should do a cookbook like wiki-page for both since resources on both pretty much blow chunks.
Past accomplishments:
- Got through puberty without dying or killing myself or anyone else, while staying an involuntary virgin
- Somehow got a cute girl to fall in love with me, without giving her any attention at all (she’s my GF now, though)
- Stopped smoking
- Stopped smoking weed, then smoked some weed, then stopped again 8)
- Programmed an elaborate framework for 2D RPGs from scratch using Java2D (before canning it for libgdx)
- Implemented Box2D into a game (phew…)
Future accomplishments:
- Find a way to spend 100% of my life coding my games, while having a full-time job, and spending about 33% of my time with my GF, family and friends
- Make a complete physics engine which incorporates all the lifecycles of the Earth down to the last molecule (umm, yeah…)
- Get a game published
- Some day probably post something in the WIP area
EDITED to remove mature content
managed to load meshes from anim8or .an8 files. I still have a long way to go, including loading skeletons,animations, etc. I hope to use this in a 3d game engine.
Also, i added physics to Captain Failure.
Past:
- Only one of my friends to graduate highschool.
- First on my father’s side of the family to graduate college (majored in computer science).
- Worked for NASA.
- Got married, had a son (one of my greatest accomplishments
)
Short-term future:
- Get Ünembra to an alpha state.
- Help support my brother as he supports my niece who’s undergoing chemo-therapy for leukemia.
Long-term Future:
- Helping my son overcome the challenges his autism has brought, and exploit the advantages it has (kids crazy smart for a 3yr old lol).
- Break my grandparents record of 57yrs married ( 49yrs to go )
- Publish a book.
That’s about it for now

You are awesome Pickle, why couldn’t you be my dad?
Past:
“Hello World” (as posted above)
Made some 3D games.
Infinite Terrain Generation implementation.
Entered 2 Ludum Dares. Finished both. ;D
Lots of things in Far From Home (AI, LWJGL GUI, Multiple-levels)
Future:
Make a commercial game that I and other people enjoy.
Hopefully make some kind of technological advancement in the area of AI (hopefully not so much that robots take over the earth and someone travels back in time to kill me ;D)
Future: I hope to developed a plan I have for real time ray tracing.
Future:
To be successful enough with games to be able to have and raise four children myself (2 boys, 2 girls)
