Much as I like chrome, its font renderer is really fuzzy on some displays, like high-resolution laptops outputting to a lower-res projector or monitor. Chrome does finally have something almost as good as Noscript now, but it’s not quite there yet. Also, ChromeIPass is nowhere near as nice or reliable as KeeFox. Seems every time I want to switch for good, I find another indispensable Firefox extension

Back to XBox One: in my opinion it will win in USA and England, but the overall winner of this generation will be PS4.
It seems that new XBox is the last hope for Microsoft, no one is experimenting if everything is going good.

Except that Cero was saying that it will not win USA and England, just do better than in other countries. Mac70 was saying that it will win USA and England. I agree with Mac70, maybe because I overestimate the power of peer pressure and similar stuff. I think that people will go to XBOX because it is more mainstream.
Sony still has plenty of time to screw things up, and while I’m not hoping for it, I’m still betting on it, given their history. Microsoft’s entire life story has been about picking up the ball after others have dropped it.

A minor point to you people that I might add is: Xbox 360 was never ever popular in Japan in the least bit.
If you look at VG Chartz and then look at a popular violent western game like call of duty or gta, look at the Xbox360 sales in Japan. Its like 12 copies 
The console really didn’t sell well in Japan and now there is even less incentive to buy the Xbox One for japanese people.
If you say “well who cares about them?” - Well its one of the big 3 gaming markets North America, Europe, Japan. And dont expect japanese games to become Xbox One exclusives…
Japan is outside PS4 vs. XBOne combat - Nintendo is already ruling there.
Japan sets its own trends, 90% of which never make it out of Japan. Consumer electronics brands are a notable exception, but consumer preference within those brands not necessarily. Sony’s MiniDisc format were big in Japan and a flop everywhere else for example (Sony only this year stopped making them).
So while I doubt Microsoft is writing off Japan, I suspect they’d be happy to dominate the other two markets. Speaking of big markets, anyone know which console is big in China, if any? Or does everyone just play PC and mobile games there?
Seriously no idea. I know about Brazil and Australia but never thought about China in terms of consoles.
However I did import a lot of PS3 games from Hong Kong since they are cheap, English and region free. And those have Chinese subtitles (optionally)
China, probably pc (easier to torrent stuff, and everything in China is torrented)
Maybe a bit off topic, but I think the real winner this generation has been the Indie market (both on PC and consoles), and Microsoft’s move away from proper indie support will most certainly bite them in the ass eventually.
I mean… More than Steam moving into Linux already has. 
I think gaming on consoles is not a real big thing in China.
Most gaming in China is happening at a local Internet Cafes with WoW or LoL being very popular. Then there is the probably even bigger market of mini games on Phones(Angry Birds is big over there) or flash-games.
You have to remember that like 70% of Chinese computers use some custom version of IE 6 and kids study all day long and don’t sit in front a display.
