I use my really good gaming laptop for making my game as well. My Steam library sometimes distracts me a bit. Even so, any computer with Java 7 could run the game that I’m making I think, so I can just work on it anywhere.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs)
Memory: 6 GB
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GT 555M, 1696 MB visual memory
How were big the capacitors? :o
The sort you use in power stations and switching stations.
iMac, Late 2006.
2GB RAM,
2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,
and a GeForce 7300 GT 128MB
Runs smooth as silk
Also, I target my games to run really smooth on that, so anything that supports OpenGL 2.1+ should run it just fine
Lenovo B460
Nvidia GeForce 310M
Intel Core i5 2.40 GHz
2 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bit
Crap graphics card, I know.
iMac, March 2009 (education edition)
2Ghz Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM
NVidia GeForce 9400 256MB
OSX Lion and Windows XP via BOOTCAMP
I’ve been using Ubuntu 12.04 for several months as a primary OS, gotta love the terminals, though ATM I’m mostly in OSX.
ASUS Laptop (can’t seem to find the model number)
12GB RAM
Intel Core i7 2.2GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M (3GB)
Windows 7 - 64 it
Works like a dream so far. After working on a cramped sony Vaio , I love the larger screen size.

I bet it works like a dream, but does it get hot?
I wanted to update my post. I just got a second monitor
Same specs as my earlier post, but now with 2 24" 1920x1080 Viewsonic VX2453 monitors
I want 2 monitors… Saving up for it now… Is that Aptana you have opened on the right screen?
I’m running an AMD Phenom II Quad - Core, with 5GB of RAM and an integrated Radeon HD 4200… I hate it. Windows 7 is glitchy. Ubuntu supports nothing. Graphics are horrid… I’m saving up about a grand to get a new rig… Something nicer…
Nope, right screen is Eclipse with my super awesome theme and color scheme.
Windows 7 isn’t glitchy, it most likely is bad or missing drivers. Try looking for drivers for your hardware, especially for your GPU.
I wasn’t insulting Windows 7, just my own. I forgot to include the fact that half my registry is missing, so its not exactly easy to use.
I hate your theme lol… I can’t see a thing in Aptana because it follows that very color scheme.

It is the first laptop I’ve owned that doesn’t get hot at all. Another reason to be happy with it.

I’m not sure if I’m more jealous of the computer or the trees in he background… Your place looks way more homely then where I work.
How dare you insult my lovely theme!
That’s a link to the theme btw. If anyone wants to use it in Eclipse, go to File -> Import -> General -> Preferences

I live in the quietest neighborhood ever, and there’s an entire forest bordered by a lake … in my backyard. ;D
Thats the same theme Aptana uses… I can’t see a darn thing lol…
Heh well I’ve never heard of Aptana, but I’m not using Javascrip + CSS anytime soon
@ra4king
I have same theme on notepad++, but I did a scary project back there so I’m kinda trauma to see that ;D
