There’s almost no DDS converters for Mac/Linux, so I’ve started working on my own. Will be open source, and once finished will encode/decode DXT1, DXT1A, DXT3, DXT5 and hopefully the new DX10 formats as well.

Take a look at crunch which is a really impressive tool, which will include in the next release also this nice format
