At yesterdays GDC Online Awards, Spiral Knights won the ‘Best Online Game Design’ award. See ( See ~5:00 of this video: http://uk.gamespot.com/shows/on-the-spot/?event=gdc_online_awards20111012 ).
The full list of award results can be found here. Other notable win on the list is Minecraft won the ‘Best Community Relations’ award. So 2 out of the 12 awards are won by Java games, not bad IMO :).
Very nice, Congratulations to the developers on winning in such a crowded category! Congratulations to Mojang for this literally richly deserved award :).
May the brilliance of their Java success shine upon us!
