I’ve had this problem, and apparently it’s a bug in Windows ever since 98.

This is how I fixed it:

new Thread() {
{ setDaemon(true); start(); }
public void run() { while(true) {try {Thread.sleep(Integer.MAX_VALUE);}catch(Throwable t){} } }
};

add this in main, before anything loads.
