[Question]: What are the two addresses everyone knows?

We do? >_>

In the good old times we did, the school system went backwards in the last 10-15 years

Mike

All the new stuff ^_^.
Glad/SADDD I’m apart of the ‘New Age’, wish i could of been alive during the disco years, Afros, rainbow parachute pants, swag-mobiles.

I take quick look at this topic and i could say that recognized only two addresses:

221B Baker Street SHERLOCK HOLMES and
#4 privet drive, Little Whinging Harry Potter ;D ;D ;D

what are all those other places I didn’t knew until Google enlightened me ;D ;D ;D

I couldn’t agree more since I only got VG (second highest grade) in my 50 hour Computer Science class in high-school. Our CS teacher (who was also our Swedish teacher) couldn’t differentiate between a computer and a monitor. I probably didn’t use enough sound effects in PowerPoint or something.

Also, what does this have to do with anything? Addresses are completely different in different countries, and I have most likely no reason to know the “famous” addresses of other countries unless I’m a terrorist. How many people know the address of the mayor’s office in Tokyo? He’s mayor of 27 million people, which is 3 times the population of Sweden. Also, the mayor is a complete ass. He says manga corrupts people while he himself wrote novels with child rape before he became mayor. All hail Führer Ishihara.

Maybe that gave him this brilliant insight.

It would have been 1000x more fun if it was the other way around. And I do find your connection between manga and rape quite funny. That’s about the same as saying all movies are porn.

He has been driving bans on certain mangas (which I am not going to defend of course) while drawing a clear line between novels and manga to keep is own books legal. He’s also telling people that foreigners start riots and goes looting during natural catastrophes and that the 2011 earthquake was divine punishment. First time I’ve heard of god using nuclear weapons. The guy’s an idiot, I have no idea why he managed to become the mayor.

Okay, OFF TOPIC END! Back to addresses!

Oh come on. I don’t even know the definition of ‘manga’, we’re not all from Japan you know. I just infered the meaning from the sentence you wrote:

[quote]He says manga corrupts people while he himself wrote novels with child rape before he became mayor.

The word ‘while’ indicates a contradition, hence my assumption that ‘manga’ had something to do with those novels. Oh well.

Manga is easily confused with hentai from the outside - a very easy mistake to make.

Man has the education in America gone down hill. :frowning:

Sorry, didn’t mean to give you a medal. Wrong button.

Manga are like comic books. Except Manga is not geared towards “kids”, where comic books are for “kids”. (I use kids figuratively. There is a stereo type that comics are for children because they have pictures).

I don’t know my parents’ address. I can find their house, but they’ve only been living there for about two years, and I never send them physical post.

Not even christmas cards? /slap

Does “www.google.com” count as an address?

This.

Manga is the Japanese word for comics, but like Aazimon said they are not necessarily geared towards kids. There are lots of comics (that aren’t hentai) that are aimed at an older audience.

The word ‘while’ indicates a contradiction, hence my assumption that ‘manga’ had something to do with those novels. Oh well.

Ah, I guess I was a bit unclear, sorry. I just meant that fictional crimes were apparently okay as long as you don’t draw them.

Not everyone sends christmas cards…

well for the most my age, 9-17+ i’m pretty sure they know nemo.

Yes, but not everyone watched it in English.

O_o, good point.
