Noticed something on minecraft.net...

It’s a good thing you need to be able to code to get in, or we would be getting some serious spamming. Really starting to appreciate those entry tests

hello to the 100 Guests.

This topic is a bit too picky, seriously.

Success.

Oh wow great job Ciaran54!! This has now convinced me to get a twitter account ;D

wait, so you are telling me that a man who has made millions programming is unwilling to just go and change a single line of html (doesn’t even really count, because it is actual text). that just seems strange and wrong to me.

granted though, he might not have easy access to that if someone else maintains the site.

What is the point of your ill-informed outrage? As you said, the explaination is very simple, he doesn’t know how to make the modifications on the webpage, somebody else manages that. It’s called delegation and it’s a good thing :-*

It’s only a good thing if it is carried out…$5 he forgets! :stuck_out_tongue:

Or he’ll change it when Oracle owns HTML? :persecutioncomplex:

I’m sure Markus will poke the web guy to do it eventually  I could always hassle him directly every morning :stuck_out_tongue:

Cas

How? Tell him I love him for the sake of it. I’m sure he loves me back.

wasnt really an outrage, I just thought it was quirky.

It’s alright guys, he changed it. Everyone is going to be safe.

“Other java game developers.” … not that much better…

I wonder if he still lurks here? That’d be pretty cool, I like the idea of him trying out my game.

Markus, if you can hear me, how’d I do for a first game?
