I think he was referring to when HGD was making fun of his english.
I thought it was a typo. 
Engrish usually refers to people from East Asia (predominantly China) having bad english accents. I doubt “Andre Lopes” comes from China…
I’m just pointing out what Andre Lopes is referring to as “racist,” although racist is certainly exaggerating it.
While I agree that he would benefit from being a bit more self-sufficient and slightly less defensive/hot-headed and that the veterans here have been helpful/reasonable for the most part… I do think that HGD’s remark pertaining to Andre’s english was in bad taste even if it was said in jest.
Never mind that Andre doesn’t likely come from a region for which “engrish” is typically used in reference to… it was pretty clear that the statement was pertaining to Andre and his incorrect usage of English.
It could only be racist if he were from a place that doesn’t primarily speak English, and AFAIK, he isn’t. And as I said above, I thought it was a typo (was it?), and was not making fun of his english, just pointing out the typo.
Being racist wasn’t even on my mind at the time I made that comment.
And I believe it was only suggested as racist because Andre Lopes was trying to find things wrong with any comment by those in argument with him. (No offense intended, but that’s probably what was going on :))
