‘highlight posts’ -> ‘1 highlights’

Your guess it’s unrelated eh?

I don’t get it :frowning:

If I highlighted MY posts, and now I see them with a nice green backgound :), how did I “have received medals AND 1 highlight”?
I mean, someone highlighted a post of mine? How do you do that?
If “recived highlights” means that I had changed that option in the profile, why is 1 and no >100?.

Not sure if I make my point clear :frowning: the thing is, I don’t get what it means. (I know what highlight means by itself)

n highlights’ means that n people highlighted your posts (you, in this case)

You can highlight post of anybody, by the same process: go to their profile and pick ‘highlight posts’.

:persecutioncomplex:

Ohhhhh! Thanks :)! NOW I understand lol, I feel so dumb :point:

It would be nice if we get to choose the colour, that way I can highlight many users with different colours.

So it basically counts how many stalkers you have? Sweeeet…

Hmmm I wonder how many you have… :stuck_out_tongue:

Just one, but I’m sure she’s orange haired, likes to walk around with a hatchet and is featured in a certain anime. In short: Just my type.

Weird. I never thought being without a computer for 1 week, 1 day, 20 hours and 34 minutes could do this to my head.

Women are on the internet?!? ;D

You’re not helping.

So you’re posting on a forum, on the internet, without a computer ?
If you can do that, why would you even need a computer to begin with =D

I classify my iPhone as a phone.

A phone which computes

Barely. Skype + a Safari tab or two has very interesting effects. Luckily the phone slows down by a factor of 10 so I can enjoy it fully. Okay, to be fair, it’s just the skype app that’s terrible…

@theagentd being in Japan and all
How many people you meet use Android and other more “western” cell phones ?
because I’ve seen a lot of these flip form cell phones, using NTT docomo and such

and also, they dont use SMS really, they use these network provider email system, right ?

Vodafone!

Those flip designs are pretty common. Some even have GPS, 3G, touch screens and even 3D screens a la 3DS. They are almost always made by Japanese companies, so they’re usually cheaper than an iPhone/Android phone.

Smartphones are really common. Like 75% of all people on trains are staring at their phones or even tablets (hilarious during rush hours), which is understandable since many people commute for over an hour each day. From what I’ve seen most people have Apple stuff or those flip phones. Android phones are easy to find in store but a little bit rarer on the street from what I’ve seen.

I was surprised that my basic contract did not include SMSing, so I can’t really say how messaging works…
