I’m kind of curious too, but since the guy only made 6 posts (which I guess are all to this topic), I’m guessing that he never finished it.
It took me longer than 4 months to master the basics of Java games. Basically, I was trying to figure out everything on my own. Once I bought Developing Games in Java by David Brackeen, everything became clear. There were some things that I had kind of screwed up before that.
