Does the NDA prevent you from discussing it person to person, say via Yahoo Instant Messenger? Because I’m dying to hear what happened.
What if I downloaded the Apple SDK, even though I don’t own a Mac?

I will look into the details… I don’t think you need to own a Mac. But I think Apple demands that all discussions occur on their mailing list made for discussing the java previews. They are quite particular about this stuff… as normally thye aren’t this open about software that is in development and are somewhat paranoid about things.
Go to:
http://developer.apple.com/seeding/
for instructions for joining ADC you won’t need a ‘seed key’ to get the Java preview… they opened that to all ADC members
It looks like you will need a Mac to mount the disk image (.dmg) which pops up the NDA and has an ‘agree’ button… hmmm…
Anyway once you agree to their NDA somehow then you can get on the mailing list for discussing 1.4.1 at that point you might ask others there to try F-15 for you and report the results.
I just double checked and they are very clear about the mailing list being the only place that anything reguarding the 1.4.1 preview is discussed
"However since I’m not updating the objects based on frame count but on time passed the game should run basically the same on all machines ( I hope ). "
The lower the framerate the shorter the distance between shots. In other words you get more firepower on a slow computer (or by switching to windowed mode as I did to discover this).
Keep up the good work 8)
