WASD + space and shift also tend to be pretty good these days, since those are the bread and butter of pretty much every FPS out there and I suspect people would really start to scream bloody murder if they couldn’t, for instance, run and jump at the same time in Counterstrike or something like that.
Really annoying stuff, though, and different on every computer - I got a new MBP a few months back and the hardware changes made my usual WOW keyboard configuration totally unplayable because of different masking characteristics compared to my old Powerbook.
Just in case you’re wondering, I’ve had to do a little HiScore table maintenance - a couple of the highest scores on there were scored while the game was on an easier setting (bonuses every 10k points).
With the agreement of both of the guys concerned I’ve removed those particular scores and filled the table up the next best scores off the server log. Both guys still appear on the table currently in their own right anyway.
So all the scores on there are genuine, and have all been earned at the same level of hardness - no dirty tricks, honest !!
