Cell shading - Do you use it ?

Eclipse version control plug-ins are found of deciding “.obj” are generated artefacts rather than source - as in native compilation object files that used to be called “.obj" now mostly ".o”.

Nice elf model! - is it animated?

Could you make the test modulate the lightmap texture used for the cell shading with a real texture? It’d be a more real game example to put on the Xith page - very few people are going want all white models in game

API wise - why is there a factory for this? Wouldn’t it be easier (for the user at least) - if there was an Appearance setting for special effects - one of which was CellShading? Not sure how shader support is currently implemented but that could also go in there?

Kev

Sounds good. Someone should implement it.

Ah now I understand

Not yet ^^ But it will be as it’s used in my game

Hmm I’ll explorate this : not sure how to do but I’ll dig into the code.

Maybe.

I will if you leave me some more time (or you can do it if you have a strong feeling it’s your job ;D )

No I haven’t.

Amos, you left your your home directory in the CelShadingTest. Please review it.

Fixed.

I dont use Xith3D, and have no intention on using for the foreseeable future. I just like to keep updated with the happenings of the various engines
