Playing I found some graphic bugs about the light emanating from the ball, see if you can solve it (if that effect is not wanted or not ;D 8))

I mean that when the light emanating from the skin as it intersects with another resets rather than accumulating

Ho ! No it’s actually intentional, the ball has a body and it projects a shadow.
But maybe it’s not a good idea :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello !

So, the last update has been published today ! With :

  • A lot of new levels, I abandoned all the “procedural” thingy for the levels. I’ve added a selection menu, I’ve still have a work to do on this one, but it’s better than nothing.
  • The ball is bigger et the sprite has changed. In fact that’s the same sprite used 3 times with different colors and a rotation clock wise or conter clock wise. It looks good and it’s easier to see the ball even with a ton of particles ! We’re getting close to a solution on that !! :slight_smile:
  • And, the collider of the ball is now a circle, not a point.
  • The paddle emits some particles. And as we all know, the more particles the better :smiley:

Yes is not a good idea the shadows. After I readed your last post I started the game and on the in the top right and bottom left was writed the spite sheet. It is the debug mode? Why that effect? ??? :o

Ha ! That’s a weird bug that happens from time to time, don’t know why :o I can’t reproduce it yet (I’ve only seen it once myself)

New update online, not much honestly, but a very important update for the endless mode !

  • The number of blocks in a column has been largely improved, it was too easy and boring before :wink:
  • There are particles around the paddle
  • When the ball hits something, there are a lot more particles emitted and lightning

Very nice new update but it would be great to add more value to diamonds. The latter have a texture to work but otherwise you did a great job. Good work! 8) :wink:

Hi guys !

It’s been awhile, in this new version, I’ve worked once again on improving the visibility of the ball in the normal mode. The particles are now emitted with a random offset.

I’ve replaced xp by diamonds, it doesn’t change much but apparently it’s easier to understand. And yes there are more of them :stuck_out_tongue:

box2D, libGDX and other libraries have been updated.

and finally the collisions are improved :slight_smile:

Nicely done, maybe get Facebook/Twitter added so they can share their scores. Average facebook user has 100 friends, so for every 1 person posting a score you could in theory rake in another 100 people; under the best circumstance.
